Terms of use

Last updated 9 August 2026

Prompt Library is a free, personal side project, offered as-is. Using it means accepting the following.

Your account

Sign-in is by a one-time link emailed to you, so keep access to that inbox secure. Use an address you control, and don’t use the service to impersonate anyone.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts you write. Marking a prompt public, or sharing a link to it, is your decision and makes it readable by others exactly as described in the privacy notice. Don’t upload anything unlawful, anything you have no right to publish, or anything containing secrets or other people’s personal information. Content that breaks these rules may be removed, and the account behind it closed, without notice.

Acceptable use

Don’t attempt to access other users’ private prompts, probe or overload the service, or automate bulk scraping of the public gallery. Security issues are welcome — report them via the issue tracker rather than exploiting them.

No warranty, no guaranteed availability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. There is no uptime commitment and no backup guarantee: it can change, break, or be shut down at any time. Keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including lost or deleted content.

Changes

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the updated terms.
